UltimateGuide Scheduler for ATI - Release Notes

UltimateGuide for TitanTV allows you to create scheduled recordings for select ATI TV cards from TitanTV listings. Once installed when you select a program to record on the TitanTV site it will automatically launch UltimateGuide for TitanTV to allow you to set recording parameters and then it creates an entry in the ATI Scheduler.

Fix: Problems handling programs without descriptions

Starting in February TitanTV will be changing their program events. We are currently having some problems in our testing of this feature but hope to have worked out before TitanTV goes live with this feature.
Added: Gist.com now supported

Gist.com has implemented a paid service ($3.95/quarter) that now allows you to schedule programs. Go to program details and click on "Record on your SnapStream Personal Video Station (PVR) ".

Starting in February TitanTV will be changing their program events. This update will use these new events and will be required for any users using TitanTV starting in February. Current events will not be effected so you should install this update now so your scheduling will continue to work in the future.

Well we are finally releasing our first "production" release of UltimateGuide Scheduler for ATI.

Changed: Registration to launch mailing list page instead of having user input email. We did this for two reasons:

1) Some users did not understand that email was not required so they put in false email addresses.
2) By doing this we separate completely the registration process from the subscribing of our mailing list so that we can't tie together your email to your registrations to protect your privacy. We may loose some entries on our mailing list but your privacy is more important to us.

Usage:

Step 1: Go to http://partners.titantv.com/index.asp?siteid=50812 and select program you want to record by clicking on the icon of a video tape beside the program.

Step 2: Click on "Add to Schedule for Recording" button on the form that pops up.

Step3: Select recording preferences and click "OK" button (actual form may change slightly with each release)

The first time you run the program you will be asked to provide your zip/postal code to register.

Your Privacy is Important To You and To Us!

Although we do not collect any personal information at this time we are committed to never release to any third party if in the future we change our registration process. This policy also covers any registrations to our mailing list.

Known Problems

TitanTV file is not found/launched in some instances. Clearing cached files in IE appears to solve problem. Further investigations are being performed.
Program allows scheduling of programs already past, of course TitanTV.com also does this.
